We are immensely thankful to those who attended to help make this year's LCOY Canada a success by sharing your views, concerns, and climate action success. The Organizing Team is taking these learnings to design the main LCOY Canada 2023 Conference.
Pre-LCOY Canada is a leaders' summit to prepare for the main LCOY Canada 2023 conference by sharing best practices, learnings, and speaking up for what’s important in Canadian climate action. By joining Pre-LCOY you will acting as a member of the Youth Advisory Council for LCOY Canada 2023 and provide the Organizing Team valuable information on what specific climate topics concern youth most this year, where we as climate organizations are hindered and find success, and how the LCOY Canada 2023 conference in September can be best designed.
The attendee focus for Pre-LCOY is youth (ages 15 - 35) who are an organizing team member of a local club/organization (such as a school club), a staff member for a climate NGO/university department, or have heavily involved themselves in climate action organizing. All attendees will come together to form a 'Youth Advisory Council' that will assist the LCOY Canada 2023 Organizing Team in planning and implementing an effective conference by simply participating in the 24 June events.
Join the meeting on 24 June and participate in the events to share your perspective and learnings as a youth climate leader - it's the biggest and easiest impact you can make for LCOY Canada 2023! Register by 20 June. Max 100 participants
